Myriam Blundell Projects is a London based art production company founded in 2004, which is dedicated to showcasing experimental and creative forms of displaying visual and performative arts within the vast landscape of contemporary practices. Working with a variety of mediums ranging from Film, Photography, Installations and live art performances to Contemporary Music and Dance, the practice focuses upon unusual and new ways of approaching the conventional to create exciting forms of display and engagement with contemporary art.
MBP curates and produces a wide range of art events, including live art events, commercial shows and institutional exhibitions in the UK and abroad. The practice provides visual and performative content to a variety of public and private art institutions through the staging of events designed fit alternative spaces, displacing art from the conventional gallery environment to reach a wider public viewing audience and level of appreciation. The practice also acts as a coaching medium, providing both commercial and creative guidance to MPB’s pool of artists
Through the Residency Programme at the friends of Signy and Olaf Willums Art Foundation, MBP provides emerging and mid-career artists, from all countries and all disciplines, with the opportunity to live and work in the South of France between the months of November and May. The program is designed as a creative incubator for nurturing innovative ideas, new encounters and unique exchanges, across diverse art mediums, aimed at enhancing its residents’ creativity and, personal and professional growth. Participation to this programme is by invitation-only.
